I recently received Quite a few birds from Laurie and was very happy with my purchase. I could tell she took excellent care of her birds at they were beautiful...the Gouldians were some of the best I have seen and the Normal Javas were a pure strain with not one white feather under the chin or out of place. The Shaftails are in great shape. Everyone who comes in my bird room comments on how lovely the Owl Finches are. I also appreciated her very reasonable prices and her incredible records on each bird. I look forward to buying more birds from Laurie.

ordered three Gouldian's and a pair of owl finches from Laurie and they are AMAZING birds! I have ordered birds from other breeders and the birds do not compare. Not only were they beautiful, but the care she took to ship them to me was outstanding! Most breeders just put the birds in the box with some seed and water. Laurie took the time to add bedding to the bottom of the box and added screen to the top, so they weren't flying around and possibly getting injured. I will be doing business with Laurie again next year! I would love to have another pair of her owl finches.

The birds are doing great! Both pairs of haftails have gone to nest and have fertile eggs already. The male gouldian and his new mate are getting along so well, they have 5 babies already!

I recently purchased 7 owl finches, July of 2009. Laurie was prompt answering any questions
I had and the birds arrived safe and sound. The packing for their trip was obviously thought
out and well prepared. All not only arrived safe and sound, but were very healthy! I have my
own microscope and did random fecals for several days...I found no pathogens and received
some of the healthiest birds I have ever purchased! If I were to need any more of finches,
this is where I would go! Healthy birds, trustworthy person and did what she said she would do!

I just bought two pair of finches from Laurie.
She was very easy to deal with answering my emails quickly. I actually only
intended to buy a pair of Owl finches, but when I got to Laurie's aviary, I
was so impressed with her other finches that I also came home with a pair of
shafttails and put myself on a waiting list for another pair. All of Laurie's
birds look healthy, and I was impressed with how clean her aviary was.

I contact Mrs. Schuneman regarding a Java finch. She immediately reply to my email.
Also when I visit her aviary she was extremely polite and gentile with me.
Her birds are in great shape and the aviary is clean and neat.
The Java finch I bought from her is healthy and very happy.
